You will receive these hard, as they are matured enough to come off the vine, but being that it is too cold for them to ripen on the vine, it is time to harvest. Simply place them in a paper bag with an apple to expedite the ripening process. You should expect them to ripen within one to two weeks in this way. Don't forget them in that bag, and try to catch them as they ripen as they do not have a very long shelf life once ripened. They are a worthwhile treat for sure, and a potent source of vitamin C in preparation for the winter!
