If you like cilantro, take advantage of it (I know some just can't do it: "tastes like soap...")! Cilantro is a powerful chelator of heavy metals; we all need some detoxification this day and age...
Works great with my standard pesto recipe:
ANY-HERB PESTO:
1/2 cup sunflower seeds, toasted
2-5 garlic cloves
GRIND THESE IN A FOOD PROCESSOR
3 cups herb leaves (cilantro in this case, and feel free to mix it up, with mint for example :)
1/2 sunflower/olive/favorite oil
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp sweet white miso (optional, although highly recommended)
pinch of crushed red pepper flakes
ADD THESE AND GRIND FURTHER
ENJOY ALONGSIDE ROASTED ROOT VEGETABLES, RICE, ON BREAD OR PASTA!
